Dallas Pruitt sits down to talk about the significance of consistency and continually moving in the right direction to attain your main goals in life. This applies not just to your multifamily housing investments but also to your other endeavors in life.

He quotes:

“Dreams become reality after years of mundane, repetitive, focused effort with a willingness to learn from failure and a love for the process.”

Success is not an overnight event. It takes time to fulfill your purpose, and you may have to overcome many failures to get the fruit finally. People often need clarification about what they should focus on as they leap into multifamily real estate. Most believe intensity is a key contributor to growth, but the pivotal factor is consistency.

You must always remember two equations to bring your efforts to fruition:

  1. Consistency > Intensity

Dallas says, “although intensity ebbs and flows, consistency drives the needle in terms of growth.” Staying consistent with your efforts through thick and thin will benefit you more than putting all your efforts in one go.

  1. Weed + Feed

People who succeed in life are good at not getting distracted. They have developed systems and processes to help them continually weed out anything that distracts them from their main purpose. They feed their systems constantly – learning, knowledge, gratitude, and optimism – to move in the right direction.

Stay consistent and focus in the right direction, and you will surely succeed!

Dallas:
Hey, what’s going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruit, and this is the Daily Drip here on the Growth Cast. What I wanted to do today is I wanted to talk about, I, I wanted to share a quote first, and then talk about responsible building. Let me, let me get to this quote. It says, dreams become reality after years of mundane, repetitive, focused effort with a willingness to learn from failure and a love for the process. So many people think that they have an accountability problem when really they just don’t understand fully how growth works and what they should be emphasizing, what they should be focusing on. So many times people believe that intensity is, is a key contributor to growing, and although intensity ebbs and flows, it’s consistency that really drives the needle in terms of growth, right? There’s an equation. There’s a couple equations here that I wanna share with everybody today.

You can write these things down and reference them as reminders as you continue to bring your dreams to life as you continue to work your life, your, your ideal life to fruition, whether that’s a business you’re growing right now, or working to become something better in any other aspect of your life. So here are the two equations that I wanna share. One is, consistency is greater than intensity. Those who become great at anything, they focus on consistency. They focus way more on consistency than they do intensity. The second one is weed plus feed, right? Excellent people. People who become great at anything, they are really good at moving in the right direction. What I mean here is they’re really good at not becoming distracted. The weed portion is they weed out distractions. They have systems and processes that they’ve developed that help them continually weed out anything that distracts them from their definite aim or their main purpose, right?

And they feed their systems. They feed the things that work. They’re constantly feeding learning. They’re constantly feeding gratitude. They’re constantly feeding optimism. These people, these people who are great at anything, again, look to any example you can think of. These two equations are at the forefront of everything they do. Again, consistency is greater than intensity. And weed plus feed, focus on consistency. That is today’s invite. Focus on consistency and do everything you can to weed and feed so that you continually move in the right direction and not get distracted. Don’t allow yourself to get distracted. Be a responsible builder. Again, I’ll close with the quote one more time as we lay this thing out today. Dreams become reality after years of mundane, repetitive, focused effort with a willingness to learn from failure and a love for the process. Have a great day, everyone, and we’ll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
